Westmasters has been a long-term contractor for the Queensway Estate, working alongside the landlord and property developers for over a decade. Throughout this period, we have delivered a wide range of commercial and structural projects across Queensway, including major refurbishments, landlord works and shell-and-core preparations for incoming tenants.

Our work has included full strip-outs back to the solid structure, steel framing, roof and floor replacements, extensions, rainwater and drainage upgrades, and all structural alterations required for new commercial occupiers.

QUEENS SKATE DINE BOWL VIP LANES

At Queen’s Skate Dine Bowl, we delivered the full construction of the new VIP bowling lanes, starting with a complete strip-out and demolition of the existing areas. Our team installed new structural elements including steel beams, supports and floor build-ups, followed by precise levelling and formation of the new lane bases. The works provided a clean, structurally sound shell ready for specialist bowling equipment installation and final fit-out.

36-38 QUEENSWAY – STRUCTURAL EXTENSION & SHELL WORKS

At 36–38 Queensway we completed a full strip-out of the basement and first-floor retail units, returning both spaces to a clean shell and core ready for new tenants. The main works involved constructing a new front extension for both units: excavation of the existing ground, installation of a reinforced concrete slab, and erection of a steel-frame structure designed in-house, including full manufacturing drawings and connection details. We then formed the new cold-roof build-up using timber joists, sloping insulation layout, plywood decking and waterproofing. The extension floor build-up included insulation, vapour control layer and a 100 mm screed. Both units were handed over structurally complete and ready for tenant fit-out.
